Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. You may sign in using an email address or a third-party account such as Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it, and you agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

2. The Services

Skoop provides personalized home reports for homeowners and lead generation, automation, and nurturing tools for real estate professionals. Reports may be sponsored by a real estate agent, broker, or lender, who may contact you as described in our Privacy Policy. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

3. Estimates and Informational Content

Property values, equity, cash-out amounts, mortgage figures, market data, and similar content are estimates generated from public records, third-party data, and automated models. They are provided for informational purposes only, are not guarantees, do not constitute an appraisal, and are not financial, legal, tax, lending, or real estate advice. Consult a licensed professional before making decisions. Nothing in the Services is a commitment to lend; all loans are subject to credit and property approval by the applicable lender.

4. Communications

By providing your contact information and opting in, you agree to receive emails and text messages from Skoop and the real estate professional sponsoring your report. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time and reply STOP to end text messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Scrape, harvest, copy, resell, or redistribute report data or other content without our written permission.
• Access another person's account or report without authorization.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or their systems.
• Upload malicious code or use automated means to access the Services beyond what we make available.

6. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and report content, are owned by Skoop or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

7. Third-Party Services

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites and services, including identity providers, data sources, and the professionals who sponsor reports. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, or practices, which are governed by their own terms and policies.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES OR ANY ESTIMATES WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SKOOP AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Skoop and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Skoop is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in that state, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted here with a new effective date, and your continued use of the Services after that date constitutes acceptance of the changes.
